It
was built in 1906 on designs by the architect Arturo Márquez. It was
a warehouse and a hat factory. Afterwards its ground floor hosted an exquisite
drugstore famous for its cedar furnishings. Rented by José Cueto, to
whom it owes its name, it was also a hotel. To this end it is currently being
restored.
