Monserrate Street

The intramural’s limit by the west, is Monserrate Street. It owes
its name to the Hermitage of Monserrate that existed in the plazuela of
the Wall gate of same name, erected in 1695 and later demolished in 1836.
This road is very trafficked, because it reaches by an end, the Railroad
Central Sation and by the other, the Port Avenue.
